Legal
Privacy
Last updated 22 August 2026. This is the policy for this website and for ordinary enquiries. Engagements may have additional terms in the statement of work.
Who we are
0.5 Labs (“we”, “us”) operates https://pointfivelabs.io from Toronto, ON, Canada. Our privacy officer can be reached at admin@pointfivelabs.io.
What we collect
If you submit a form (contact, operational assessment, or project feedback), we collect the fields you provide: typically name, email, organization, role, and the substance of your message. If you email or call us, we collect the contents of that correspondence. This site does not run advertising pixels. Server logs may include IP address, user agent and requested URL for security and operations.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to you, to assess whether an engagement is in scope, to deliver work you have asked us to do, and to keep records we are required or reasonably expected to keep. We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry data to train public models.
Subprocessors
Email may be transmitted through our hosting and mailbox providers. Scheduling, if you use it, is provided by Calendly. Hosting of this website is with our deployment provider. Those vendors process data on our behalf to operate the service.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months if no engagement follows). Engagement records follow the contract. You may ask us to delete enquiry data that is not required for an active contract or a legal obligation.
Your rights
Canadian privacy law generally gives individuals the ability to request access to personal information an organization holds about them and to ask that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected or amended. You may also ask about retention or deletion of enquiry data that is not required for an active contract or legal obligation. Write to the privacy officer above and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Questions or complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact the privacy officer above with enough detail for us to review it. We will investigate and respond. If the concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the privacy regulator in your province, where applicable.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
